Theo, pretty consistently, loves diggers. Excavator this and excavator that. All he wants are diggers. We have digger pj's, digger stickers, digger clothes, digger toys, digger lunch box, digger puzzles...one gets the idea. In a turn of events he has decided to push his obsession/love of diggers to the side for this lime green riding machine.
We went to REI tonight to buy his huge noggin a new helmet and he fell in love with this bike. I am unsure if it is a girl's bike, but I am leaning towards the affirmative. I am most certain that he loves it because it is all green, which is his very favorite color. He even exclaimed, "It has a suitcase!" referring to the storage bag on the front.
I am hoping he won't be the laughing stock of the neighborhood, but~hey~you aren't a preschool boy very often and if the boy wants a lime green bike with a bag on it, so be it! He kept talking about the bike as we left the store, in the car, and after we arrived home. He found his bike!
Only four months until his birthday. I can't wait!
